As a figure of speech, repetition used in our book. One of
them is the song. The song is a major point that kept the plot, the characters,
the past and the present together. Apart from that, one word is sometimes used
three times or more to make us feel what the characters feel. That helped
actually. In the desert I felt the despair (empty canteen) and on the mountain the
hope (snow memory). With his words Louis Sachar made us live in the world he
created.
Of course there are things that I didn’t like in the author’s
style. There were too many coincidences in the book which can not occur in the
real world. That might be understandable considering that it is a children’s
book, but I had to say it. The book was like a chain reaction of coincidences.
That’s all fellows. I tried to analyse the style Louis
Sachar used. Hope you like it! (Especially you Mr. Siever)
Time to say goodbye, ha? Briefly I liked the book, I hope
you will like the whole blog :D
